Colfax Christian Church has existed since 1852. We are an independent, non-denominational congregation of believers seeking to live and serve as outlined in the New Testament of God’s word.

• We believe in only one God found in the Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 

• We believe the Bible to be the inerrant, infallible, inspired word of Almighty God and the final authority for all matters of faith.

• We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus.

• We believe God is creator of all people and things.

• We believe every person has worth as one of God’s creation but all have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory.

• We believe that salvation (forgiveness of sins) is offered to all people and comes only by the grace of God through the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross and His resurrection from the dead.

• We believe the Bible teaches that the pattern to follow to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord is to believe in Christ as God’s Son, to repent of personal sin, to confess Jesus Christ as Lord and to be baptized into Christ.

• We believe the church is the body and bride of Jesus, founded on the day of Pentecost, consisting of all Christians everywhere.

• We believe following the pattern of the New Testament, the Elders lead the local body of believers.

• We believe death seals the eternal destiny of each person. The saved will inherit eternal life; the unsaved, eternal separation from God.

• We believe Jesus will one day return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
